Our Programs
Every Eco Patch Early Learning program is shaped by nature based learning, warm relationships, and meaningful experiences in our gardens and with our animals.

Nursery
Our nursery is a gentle and nurturing space where the youngest children feel safe, calm, and supported. Educators build strong bonds with each child and follow their individual routines, helping them settle, explore, and grow with confidence.
Soft natural materials, sensory play, quiet moments, and time outdoors support early development. Babies are introduced to the rhythms of the garden and the presence of our animals in ways that encourage curiosity and connection.

Toddler
Toddlers learn through active exploration, movement, and hands-on experiences.
Our toddler program offers opportunities to investigate the garden, care for animals, create, build, problem solve, and participate in simple food experiences.Children begin to develop independence, communication, and social skills through collaborative play and meaningful work. Educators support emerging interests and guide children as they learn to express their ideas, make choices, and deepen their understanding of the natural world.

Kindergarten
Our kindergarten program prepares children for school and lifelong learning through rich, inquiry based experiences.
Children engage in deeper investigations in the garden, contribute to animal care, practise early literacy and numeracy through purposeful activities, and participate in extended projects inspired by their interests.
Outdoor learning, teamwork, and shared responsibility build confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of agency. Children develop the skills needed for a positive transition to school, including problem solving, communication, cooperation, and emotional awareness.
“Children learn as they play. Most importantly, in play children learn how to learn.”
